Here's my entry to the New Scholarship blog design scholarship. This is the main wordpress homepage. The other page to see is the single post page which is where you view a full post, read & view comments, etc. There's also the about page which is pretty simple.
More on the Layout
These images are links. Due to the width of the layout, images should be less than 420 pixels wide. This layout was designed to acommodate up to 250px ad units in the side column, but be perfectly viewed at a low 800x600 resolution — something I felt important given the demographic and chances of being viewed on antiquated or low end machines (ie. school/library computers or old systems by those who really need financial aid).
